@"Lucy"#No problem! My partner and I watched our first “multiplayer” movie tonight and it was mostly a good experience. Here’s some constructive feedback:

Very important that we get an option to hide avatars completely or make them fade as the movie starts. We watch in movie chairs which means we have our hands in our laps and they can become visible in the peripheral vision. If we raised a hand to scratch our face, we suddenly had avatar arms in our faces!
Whenever we paused the movie to go to the kitchen or the bathroom, the room closed and we had to go through the invitation process a few times to get to the end.
It would be great if the inviting party could get a confirmation when the invited party accepts the invitation. There doesn’t seem to be any way to know for sure.

For a first build, 2.0 is very promising!

Hi,
I tested Emby and found that it currently doesn't support multi-part videos. For example, with files like SSVR-001-pt1, pt2..., Skbybovr only shows SSVR-001-pt1, even though Emby does recognize the other parts. I think this feature is quite important since most AV titles nowadays are split into parts.

I'm sorry that the current version 2.0.0 doesn't support displaying the additional parts like pt2, pt3 or etc. If this feature is available in a future update, I will let you know!

Hi everyone!

I read that in Skybox v2.0.0 multiplayer mode, you can watch videos together as long as the file path and filename are identical on all devices, or via the same SMB/WebDAV/Plex server.

I usually watch live streams or online video links using VLC or another player on my PC.

👉 Is there any way to watch that kind of content together with friends in Skybox multiplayer?
Like maybe using a shared WebDAV or Plex setup with a .m3u8 stream? Or any workaround?

Hi, I seem to have an issue with the Beta and Plex.

When I try to add my Plex server I get the Plex login screen, once adding username/password I just get a browser stuck on a white screen on the address http://127.0.0.1:3002

If I close the browser I can see my server but it’s greyed out with an exclamation mark.

I’ve tried restating the app and the headset and reading the server but it’s still the same.

Any ideas?

When the server shows as grayed out, please wait for a while and then check if you can access your server normally.

I enjoy the new external player feature but it seems to only work when the app is closed, if skybox is already running nothing happens.

It also looks like the movies and episodes I watch through Jellyfin are not being marked as watched on Jellyfin.

Glad to hear you like the external player feature!

Regarding the first issue you mentioned, as of now, it is indeed not possible to use the external player feature while SKYBOX is running. It is not easy to fix in the short term, so please use this feature when SKYBOX is closed.

About the second issue, we will further investigate and explore the possibility of implementing this feature in a future update.

2、排序问题是确实存在的，我根据文件新旧来排序，文件夹和jellyfin排序都一致，Skybox的页面是不无规律排序，刷新后页面甚至不一致

希望官方可以尽快改善投屏功能，这样SKYBOX会更一层楼
