Lucy Hey! I'd like to confirm that I'm also experiencing this bug.
I'm on version 2.0.1
I've tried
- clearing the SkyboxVR cache
- pressing the factory reset button within the app
- editing my Meta avatar
- rebooting my headset and trying all of the above
I can see my Meta account username and id from within the Skybox app, so it seems to be connected to my Meta account successfully.
When creating my own room, the error message pops up, but I can simply hit "cancel" and stay in the room.
If I try to invite another player, them attempting to join gives a network error message.
If another player invites me, when I join the room it crashes their application, while I get the "Create your Meta avatar before joining this room" message
I'm on a Meta Quest 3.
It's a pretty frustrating bug, and is impeding my main use case for SkyboxVR (testing out the multiplayer).
I'll be on the lookout for updates and trying again in case there are fixes, but if there's a workaround I'd appreciate if someone could let me know.
