@Lucy Factory resetting the Quest, creating a new Meta ID and avatar and repurchasing the app didn’t change anything. Same avatar error message on creating/entering any room and notification asking whether I’m sure I want to leave the room. Don’t know what else to try, but one curious thing might help you diagnose: when I do enter the room, my avatar is “blank” i.e. not dressed or configured as in the rest of the OS. Somehow the avatar settings aren’t being seen by Skybox VR. Related to that, it would be great if one could choose whether to see guest avatars or not. And they should certainly disappear once the movie starts. Hope that all helps!

Do the new features from 2.0.0 only apply to local files? When I try to search or long press on network or Airscreen files the options aren't available or tell me I need to download Airscreen 1.1.10 or newer. I've tried resetting, delete/reinstall, etc. I'd love to be able to search my PC files and even better i I could delete files on the PC straight from the headset.

Hello, sorry that we haven't released the new AirScreen Client yet. If you are using AirScreen(SKYBOX PC Client) to stream PC files, please kindly wait for AirScreen update. I will keep you noticed when it is available for download.

Hello, I’m having an issue in the v2 preview when viewing full SBS images — the colors appear very washed out.

Hello, we'll fix this bug in the next build. As a temporary workaround, please go to SKYBOX's "Global Settings" and turn off "Pro-HD Quality". Let us know if you encounter other problems!

@"Lucy"#No problem! My partner and I watched our first “multiplayer” movie tonight and it was mostly a good experience. Here’s some constructive feedback:

Very important that we get an option to hide avatars completely or make them fade as the movie starts. We watch in movie chairs which means we have our hands in our laps and they can become visible in the peripheral vision. If we raised a hand to scratch our face, we suddenly had avatar arms in our faces!
Whenever we paused the movie to go to the kitchen or the bathroom, the room closed and we had to go through the invitation process a few times to get to the end.
It would be great if the inviting party could get a confirmation when the invited party accepts the invitation. There doesn’t seem to be any way to know for sure.

For a first build, 2.0 is very promising!

Hi,
I tested Emby and found that it currently doesn't support multi-part videos. For example, with files like SSVR-001-pt1, pt2..., Skbybovr only shows SSVR-001-pt1, even though Emby does recognize the other parts. I think this feature is quite important since most AV titles nowadays are split into parts.

I'm sorry that the current version 2.0.0 doesn't support displaying the additional parts like pt2, pt3 or etc. If this feature is available in a future update, I will let you know!

Hi everyone!

I read that in Skybox v2.0.0 multiplayer mode, you can watch videos together as long as the file path and filename are identical on all devices, or via the same SMB/WebDAV/Plex server.

I usually watch live streams or online video links using VLC or another player on my PC.

👉 Is there any way to watch that kind of content together with friends in Skybox multiplayer?
Like maybe using a shared WebDAV or Plex setup with a .m3u8 stream? Or any workaround?

Hi, I seem to have an issue with the Beta and Plex.

When I try to add my Plex server I get the Plex login screen, once adding username/password I just get a browser stuck on a white screen on the address http://127.0.0.1:3002

If I close the browser I can see my server but it’s greyed out with an exclamation mark.

I’ve tried restating the app and the headset and reading the server but it’s still the same.

Any ideas?

When the server shows as grayed out, please wait for a while and then check if you can access your server normally.
