Vision Pro v1.2.0: Added New Scenes, Optimized HDR Display and More

Dear friends,

Version 1.2.0 is now available in store. This update included some highly requested features like new environments and Dolby Vision support. We also improved the spatial audio to provide you with a better viewing experience.

What's New:

Added Space Station and Moon scenes
Optimized HDR display: Dolby Vision videos can be correctly displayed.
Optimized spatial audio: 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound are supported.
Added "Show Thumbnails" option in General Settings: If you have WebDAV-related issues, you can try turning off "Concurrent Loading" and "Show Thumbnails".

Hey Lucy, Thanks for the awesome update.sure the audio is way better than before, but it's still not multi-channel like other players such as moonVR. It's still just stereo. When would this be fixed?
And also please. release the IMAX environment. The new environments are not at all usable as the screen is too near and no option to adjust the distance.
Finally, It would be awesome to choose the row in the current cinema environment rather than choosing front/middle /back. Finding optimal distance is really hard..

We noticed some problems with Spatial Audio and we are working on a fix.

About the screen being too near and other feature requests, I will pass them to our dev team.

Hi there, the new version uses Vision Pro's audio system, so multi-channel audio should be more spatial.

Lucy Could you create free version with in app purchase. I can not buy it, because i should create fake account with US region. Ofcourse i dont have any card to pay. If i could first install it and then buy it inside the application, i can change account to mine region to finish the purchase

Lucy hi Lucy, I've been using skybox on vision pro for a month now, and I've noticed a few bugs I think need fixing, the first one is like others mentioned, the spatial audio doesn't work basically 90% of the time, I dont know why but everytime I try to stream video in cinema environment, the audio seems always come from the left side, not center.
and another problem I'm facing is the high definition vr videos are played in lower resolution, it's very noticeable, I also tried moon player without experiencing this problem

Rodatra plus can't we support playing video in the background, and remember the scroll position when opening
webdav directory with a large sum of files

Hello, thanks for your feedback.

About spatial audio not working, we have reproduced the issue. Our developers are troubleshooting what may cause this problem.

And we are testing the resolution issue as well. It may take some time as we need to compare the effect with different versions and apps. We do notice some differences but we still need to dig into it. I will keep you updated if there's any progress.

Regarding the two feature requests, I will pass them to our dev team as well. Feel free to contact us if you have other problems.

Hi, please try the following steps and see if spatial audio works as expected.

Make sure you're playing a video with SKYBOX and the speakers are playing sound.
Open the "Control Center" on your Vision Pro.
Touch and hold the volume control, and select "Head Tracked".

Why there's no TestFlight version yet? You have mentioned there's one that is being tested internally by developers. And it's been a while. Any plans to release it?

Do you mean you still can't hear spatial audio after selecting "Head Tracked" in the "Control Center"?

You can click SKYBOX's "Settings" icon to check the version number. The latest TestFlight version should be v1.2.2(776).
