If possible, please click SKYBOX's Global Settings, change the Logging Levels to "Info", reproduce the buffering issue, then click the BUG icon in the upper-right corner of Global Settings, and send us a bug report attached with logs(tick the "upload logs" box).
In addition, you can follow the steps to roll back to previous versions temporarily.
On Quest store, login your Meta account, find SKYBOX VR Video Player, scroll down the page, then you will find "Version", please click the dropdown menu to select "v1.1.6 Release: 1.1.6".
On your Quest, find SKYBOX VR Player in your App Library, click the three dots on the upper-right corner of SKYBOX. Then you will find the Update button. Just click it and wait for the installation.
