Video Settings

Hi guys!
In the Skybox App on the Quest I experienced that the Video Settings are not saved. When I stop the Video and go to anothere one, I have to change the Settings like brightness, contrast and so on every Time again. Is this a bug?

Sorry for the late reply.
Settings in IMAGE ADJUST (brightness/contrast/saturation) can be only saved per individual video.
We believe that the image for each video is different so the setting shouldn't be saved across videos.
If you would like to have this feature, we will talk about it in our product meeting.

If you ask me, I would prefer the settings to be saved as a whole. Especially if you have a lot of videos, it's very annoying to have to make the settings you like every time. Many videos, for example, are too bright for me, so that I lower them a bit. This also improves the quality (as well as the contrast). I would very much prefer not to have to adjust this every time.

I would LOVE this. Would allow a baseline fine tuning of all videos to match the headset. I'm finding I slightly lower brightness, bump contrast, and bump saturation on pretty much every video. Would love to be able to save this as default (like DEOVR).

There does seem to be a bug on Oculus Quest. In Yum's comment at the top of the thread, you said "Settings in IMAGE ADJUST (brightness/contrast/saturation) can be only saved per individual video." Unless I'm doing something wrong, these settings are not saved per individual video. If I watch a video, go back to home screen then open up the video again, the individual image adjust settings revert back to zero / default.

Would be awesome to have a customisable default image setting, then if you tweak any settings for individual videos, they are remembered in perpetuity. I'm hoping this is fairly easy to implement? Otherwise, loving the app.

this post is almost 4 years old and nothing happens. Still only individual settings per video. When you watch vr movies you want to have same settings for each video for the angle and view distance and so on. Skybox just take the money and dont put effort to change what users need.

Kiruuuu Does anyone read these requests? I’d like to save global settings, every video I watch I have to turn down the zoom.
