Cannot load subtitle .srt file into the airscreen mode.

I am using Oculus Quest and PC client on my MacBook Pro. When I added the .srt files to the client, it said: "file not supported". Does the PC client now support subtitle file? If not, then the only way is to add the movie file and subtitle file to the Quest directly in order to have subtitle enabled?

Please put the external subtitle .srt file in the same path/folder where you put the movie.
In addition, the subtitle and the movie should have the same name so that SKYBOX would recognize the correct file.
For example:
movie.mp4
movie.srt

You could not drag external subtitle directly into the PC Client.

So you mean i need to upload the .srt to my oculus quest (the skybox folder?)?
I already have the .srt file with the same name in the same folder of the movie file in my macbook.

After you put both the movie and the .srt file with the same name in the same folder on your Mac, please drag only the movie into PC Client.
When you play the movie via AirScreen, call up the play menu and on the right click the "Subtitle Setting". You should be able to see the external subtitle now.

I also had the similar issue. The Skybox can't even recognized the .srt subtitle which is under the same name the same directory with the video file. It is not always happened. After seriously examined those .srt which worked and didn't work, I came out the result: Skybox can recognize the .srt with ANSI or UTF-8, but not the ones with Unicode-16.
