Hi Dev team!
"List Disappearing" issue
I tested 0.2.0(151) yesterday and today.
I think "List Disappearing" issue may be fixed.
I didn't experience "List Disappearing" during my test.
"Long Tme Searching" issue
At first glance, "Long Tme Searching" seems to be fixed.
0.2.0(151) seems to show all the files in a folder immediately.
But, if you check, you know that 0.2.0(151) doesn't show immediately all the files in a big folder(over 500 files?).
If user doesn't scroll down to the end of file, or, if user doesn't change sorting method
from "Name Ascending" to "Name Descending", user probably think 0.2.0(151) shows all the files in that folder.
But, if you check that folder, you will find that 0.2.0(151) doesn't show immediately all the files .
0.2.0(151) just shows small part of all the files in a big folder.
In fact, 0.2.0(151) took about 2 minutes to show all the files when I open a big folder(over 1.000 files).
With the same reason, I suspect that 0.1.9 version also had this kind of problem.
In fact, I didn't test "file numbers check" in 0.1.9 version.
I think that 0.1.9 may have not shown all the files in a folder(big folder over 500files?).
If you use "Samsung VR" in Oculus-go(with "Serviio" DLNA server), it shows all the files with "Listed Pages", so, you can easily and immediately find whether all the file's number is correct or not.
Skybox and Pigasus don't show "Listed Pages".
So, users cannot know immediately whether listed files is corretct or not.
If average users who have small number of files in a folder, I think 0.2.0(151) is fine.
0.2.0(151) shows small number of files in a folder immediately.
But if users who have many files about over 500 files, they will find that 0.2.0(151) doesn't show all the files immediately.
They have to wait another 1~2minutes before all the files in a big folder listed.
Anyway, I prefer 0.2.0(151)'s fast listing to 0.2.0(147)'s slow listing.
thanks.
Best regards,
p.s)
1. Can you add "Listed Pages" feature in 0.2.0 like "Samsung VR"?
2. Can you add "Random Play"feature in 0.2.0 like "Pigasus"?
