Plex "Continue Watching" and save/resume progress?

I added my Plex account via the add option and it validated it through my web browser. I figured this was going to add an improved support over the DLNA Plex server that appears under servers, automatically. However, all this Plex support seems too do is give me folder access to each of my libraries and that's it? I don't have access to my "Continue Watching" which is quite important, and I started a video, watched 16 minutes of it and exited and it doesn't show any play progress on my Plex server. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? If not, please consider adding these 2 functionalities to your Plex support, would make it way more useful. 🙂 Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback.

Currently, our Plex integration only supports accessing your personal media library. It does not include the "Continue Watching" folder, nor does it sync playback progress with your Plex server.

But we have noted your requests and will continue to improve Plex support in future updates.

Lucy One more request is that it seems when accessing "Continue Watching" from DLNA, you are not offering a server side sorting but only your own sorting. So, there appears to be no true way see the true most recent order of my "Continue Watching" as I see it on Plex. It's a random order of sort by date not respecting serve side date, but actual file date. Other 3rd party DLNA apps I've used are able to show the correct server side "Continue Watching" order, and I'm hoping you guys can offer a way to achieve this on Skybox VR, as well. 🙂

Hello, thanks for your reply.

At this time, SKYBOX does not support displaying files according to the sorting order set on your Plex server (and we've noticed the same with other players). But we've logged your suggestion and will consider it for future development.

Lucy Thanks for your response. I bought the app primarily for Plex use so I was just giving feedback on the areas I was hoping for a little bit more basic support. 🙂 I don't really comprehend any benefit of your login to Plex capability over simply using it as DLNA server, other than perhaps it won't destroy our watched history if we have the view thumbnails enabled?
