Subtitles are showing by default

SRT Subtitles are showing on every new movie, even when the subtitle enabled flag is disabled in mkv.

How did you play the video, from local storage, or through SMB, Webdav or AirScreen?

In addition, do you still experience the unresponsive issue when your drive is waking from sleeping? The post seems to be deleted. And I just want to check if the issue still exits or if it is a bug related to SKYBOX Player.

SMB. I could send something but it would be quite large and my upload is a bit slow. I only have SRT subtitles in my file, no PGS. The default track for the SRT is disabled in MKVToolNix. Happens with every movie. I'll check to see if a file with only PGS does the same thing.

Yeah, I deleted it the other topic. The hanging happened a few times before I wrote the topic. I'm not sure what changed but it stopped hanging at the rotating circle animation and I was able to just press B and go back to selecting a movie and the next time I played it, it worked.

Well this is confusing but hope it helps.

Every file I have that only has PGS subtitles does not play by default.
The files I have multiplexed with SRT inside do play by default despite not being set as default.
And other files I have that contain SRT sometimes play by default and some don't.

mpv on pc respects the flags.

We followed your method using MKVToolNix to disable the default track for the SRT subtitle, but in our tests, SKYBOX v2.0.1 did not display subtitles by default when playing this video. Therefore, we were unable to reproduce the issue you mentioned.

To further investigate the issue, could you please provide us with the specific video file you played or a sample video? Thanks!
