I'd suggest not to pollute hard drives by creating .skybox file in every folder. That's intrusive and not a very elegant solution.

Did you set the folders as hidden? If you set a folder as a hidden folder, SKYBOX will create a .skybox file inside the folder. If you didn't set hidden folders, you won't encounter this issue. Thanks for your understanding.
Hi, thank you for the update. No, never used the hidden folder option. It creates folders nonetheless.
