Apple Vision Pro v1.1.0(beta): Add WebDAV support and immersive environments

Hi everyone,

We're happy to announce the release of SKYBOX 1.1.0(beta version)!

NEW

Added Void and Cinema environments.
Supported adjusting the intensity of screen reflected light.
Added an option to hide or show your hands during playback in Global Settings.
Added Zoom gesture to zoom in/out screen with VR videos.
Supported accessing WebDAV servers with IP or Domain Name in Network channel.
Supported opening multiple local files at once. By doing this, you can switch local files by tapping the Previous/Next button.

Improved

Improved the Screen Adjust Settings. You can adjust the Scale, Tilt and Height of the screen with VR videos or in Void environment.
Improved support for external subtitles. For network files, SKYBOX will automatically detect the external subtitles. For local files, you have to open multiple files at once to let SKYBOX recognize the subtitles. Plus, you can open Native Subtitle Style to see the native style and position of the subtitle.
Improved support for spatial audio.

FIXED

Fixed some known issues.

I hope to display the historical playback records on the right like meta quest, It is recommended that the control panel can be moved freely in cinema mode

This is very exciting! I've been using Skybox on various Quests, and tomorrow, I will receive my Vision Pro when it is launched in the UK. I'm already on Apple's TestFlight system for other apps. Is there anything else I need to do to use SkyBox on the Vision Pro? I'm happy to pay for it again. Will I be able to browse to my NAS in a similar way to Skybox on the Quest? I'm already signed up for the SkyBox beta.

Hey, thanks for your support! You can access your NAS on SKYBOX Vision Pro version. Just tap the "Network" channel to access your NAS server.

Thank you Lucy, that's working great. I did not expect Skybox to be working from day 1 on the Vision Pro. Day 1 in the UK!

Hi Lucy,
I got my AVP yesterday and downloaded SKYBOX I paid for the full version but realised the cinema environment was not yet available so downloaded the new beta.
The cinema environment seems to work really well, however my position in the middle and back rows is far too low down in the seats, so much so that the tops of the seats in front are obscuring by view of the screen. I did try re-centering the view and even restarting the headset but the problem is still there. Fine in the front row though 🙂
Please could someone look into this
It would also be great to have the history of previous movies added like on other platforms
Finally any idea when the cinema environment will be made available on the full version
Without doubt this is the best way of watching movies in the AVP and really looking forward to SKYBOX's development on the AVP 😄

Regarding the seats blocking the view, we will consider adding an option to adjust height of the seat in the future.
