When Vision Pro's Functions Meet Quest's?

I bought the skybox of Vision Pro and found that there are much fewer functions than that of the quest's skybox. When can the functions of the Vision Pro version catch up with the Quest version? I am hesitating whether to ask for a refund or not.

Theatre mode: The light intensity and seat position in the cinema can be adjusted.
Environment mode: just like Apple TV+ app, put big screen in environment with inverted image.
Full video format support: Currently, some video files cannot be played. For example:

Full file/folder name in file list: When looking at one item, its full name shall be displayed as popover or in other proper ways. Apple's default strategy which showes the leading and trailing parts of name just hide most important part. for example: 【高清剧集网发布 .....TrueHD7.1.mp4 you can't tell which moive it is in the list.

About Feature 1 and Feature 4, we will add them in the next update. About Feature 3, could you please share with us(contact@skybox.xyz) the unplayable video? We'd like to test the video to further investigate the issue.

On Vision Pro, I've added a bunch of 3D VR180 photos into the Skybox folder, but I have to exit the photo and manually click on the next photo to view them all.

Clicking advance does not go to the next picture. Will this be fixed soon?

If you open a local picture on Vision Pro, clicking Next will not switch to the next picture. Please kindly wait for the next update.

We released a new beta version 1.1.0. You can join the Testflight to get early access to this beta version. After updating, please open multiple local files at once. By doing this, you can switch local files by tapping the Previous/Next button.

Hi Lucy, I feel Apple Vision Pro is pretty neglected compared to other VRs.
May I know, When are the below-mentioned issues expected to be fixed?

All movies are playing in stereo mode, with no Atmos or even 5.1 surround.
Volume is too low compared to the other players such as moonVR. The same exact file sounds poor on Vision Pro.
When can we expect the IMAX theater environment?
Too much stuttering in fast-moving scenes. motion is not smooth.
If all these are fixed, I won't hesitate to buy this app again on my wife's account.

I have submitted the support request too. But there is no response yet. Hope this is the correct forum that I can use

hello! I can now advance to the next VR180 picture on Vision Pro. Is there any plan to auto-advance to the next picture? Like an automatic slideshow?

Yes, got to know about the upcoming update on the audio fixes.
But May I know if it adds the dolby atmos support?

Is IMAX one of those environments in the next update?

And the issue regarding the motion, it's not with one specific file, it's with every fast panning scene. It's not smooth like the TVs that we have at home(just keeping this as a reference). May be it's dropping frames. Easily reproduceable on any Vision pro.
Please let me know If something I can provide in specific.

Hi there,

The next update will add support for Dolby Vision. And you will see Space Station and Moon environments. However, Dolby Atmos and IMAX environment are not included in the next update.

About the frame dropping problem, we will fix it in the next update as well.

Hey Lucy,

I just installed the test flight version of 1.2.0 on Vision Pro and the audio seems great now!

But there's a new issue with the Dolby Vision support. All HDR and non-HDR videos have low contrast. The blacks look gray, and the black cinema bars at the top and bottom of movies are also gray. The contrast slider in the image settings is also broken - it doesn't do anything when I move it.

This is a bigger problem than the audio issue. I've attached some screenshots for you to see. Please observe the top and bottom black movie bars. They aren't pure black. Same goes for the content too.
