SKYBOX for Apple Vision Pro is Now Available for Testing!

We're excited to announce that the beta build of SKYBOX Media Player for Apple Vision Pro is now available for testing.

Using SKYBOX, you can enjoy the best playback quality with videos and images on your AVP or on your SMB/DLNA server as always. What's more, you can now easily mirror your Windows screen to AVP with SKYBOX AirScreen client installed. Please see this FAQ to find out how it works in detail.

If you want to get early access to the first build, please join us via the TestFlight link.

As the first build, there might be some bugs and glitches. If you have any problems, feel free to send us an email at contact@skybox.xyz or send in-app feedback. Your participation and feedback will help us make a better version!

It feels like the character has been stretched horizontally, the proportions are wrong, and the picture distortion is serious.And every time I enter the software for the first time, it will crash. Sometimes the VR video will only have sound but no video.

We noticed that the picture seems like being stretched horizontally and we will further investigate it.

About the crashing issue, could you please send us the in-app feedback and upload logs? Logs will help us dig into the crash and fix it. There is a feedback icon next to "Settings", you can click it to send logs.

Regarding some videos only have sound, we'd much appreciated it if you could send us one video for testing. Thank you!

It's great to see Skybox finally make its appearance on Apple Vision Pro. A bit disappointed that the #1 feature (theater environments) is not available yet, but it's great to see it nonetheless.
Is there a beta roadmap for this platform like you can see on the Trello page for the others (Meta Quest, etc)?

I saw that you have fixed the distortion problem of 180vr video, but now the new problem is that the images of the left and right glasses are out of focus, and the image is a double image. This problem is very serious and cannot be watched. In addition, the software will crash when viewing 360 panoramic photos.

Jenny thank you, I hope it will get better and better. Can the History and favorites be placed on the right side like the Meta quest ? There are too few functions in Vision Pro at present.

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience caused. SKYBOX can't play large pictures now. We will try to optimize the image support in the next few updates.
