In Win10 SMB v1 it's now disabled for security reason. I've to enable it otherwise i get a "network error" message.
It would be great if you implement also the authentication support (user/password)

Hi,
I will look into the SMB version issue. The authentication is already support. If you set a username and password in your SMB set up, SKYBOX will require it when you try to open the folder.
Andy
In Win10 with SMB I've out of sync audio and video.
SMB + Dlna = missing files in dlna (the same files)
Andy when I try to access a protected folder I get "an unknown error occurred"
with windows integrated dlna server (windows media player) I see the files so maybe it's not skybox the culprit I was using simpleDLNA before (https://nmaier.github.io/simpleDLNA/) and it worked well before this last update; now there must be some compatibility issues i think audio sync problems are related to thumbs generation (in folders with many files); maybe an option to skip this process can be a solution (only files name listing)
Do you run your SMB through this simpleDLNA as well? We will do some testings on this and get back to you.
Andy for SMB I use the native Windows share support and It works only if the folder is not password protected (otherwise I get an unknown network error). The computer that run SMB and the Dlna server is the same, though.
Got it, we will test this out and fix it ASAP.
Thanks for the feedback, Andy
i use ps3 media server for playing videos on skybox. after new update the folder is blank. other dlna players can still see the files (e.g. tested on vlc)
