Do you play videos from Quest local storage, or stream videos from your computer to headset via SMB, DLNA or AirScreen?
To further investigate the issue, we hope you can share with us the "Info" level logs. It would be better if you can send us the .srt subtitle file for testing.
You just need to click SKYBOX's Global Settings, change the Logging Levels to "Info", reproduce the issue, then click the BUG icon in the upper-right corner of Global Settings, and send us a bug report attached with logs(tick the "upload logs" box). Thanks.
