Pro-HD mode issues with 1.1.7

I just only used Pro-HD mode with 3D movies and not used other mode yet.
There's some issues with 1.1.7 with Quest3.

3D movies can not rendered with 120fps.
I could get only up to 100fps.
I could get 120fps with higher CPU and GPU profile using side quest.
Occasional screen blinking occurs with 3D movies.
The blinking could be white or black screen.

I hope issues to be fixed as soon as possible.

Lucy I found when the blinking happens.
Regardless of setting refresh rate auto or 120hz, applied refresh rate changes between 72hz, 120hz time to time.
Blinking happens during the transition.

Hi there, we tested the problem but didn't reproduce the screen blinking issue with Pro-HD mode on. Also, the videos can be played at 120fps on Quest 3 according to our test results. We will further investigate the issue.

Lucy I found that both issues occurs with IMAX theater environment.
With default theater environment, it can go up to 120fps and blinking does not present (keep 120hz).
Please check the IMAX theater environment.

I'm getting a similar issue that i posted about elsewhere, not sure if it's the same thing but i described it as a glitch every 30 or so seconds where the video would pause very, very slightly and miss a couple of frames as if it's a buffer issue and catching up with it's on screen render. For me it's hardly noticeable but gets annoying after a while.
Also this happens on any setting, but mostly with the high end options turned on. I'm on Quest 2 running an DNLA server.

Hi there,

If you're referring to the white blinking dots in IMAX environment or theater environment, please wait for Quest firmware updates. We tested this issue before, and it didn't exist in previous lower firmware versions. The issue occurred after Meta upgraded the firmware recently and then it became severe.

And we have contacted with Meta developers, they have also noticed the issue and they are working on it.

Our virtual environments may be more complex than other apps. Playing videos may require more resource usage, so the white pixels may be more severe than other apps. Thanks for your understanding.

not sure this is an issue (or merely lack of CPU power) but on the Quest 2 pro-HD cannot reach 120Hz

Hello everyone, the white blinking problem persists in the v62 version, it is really important to work on the solution since it is very annoying.

And especially in SkyBox, its strong point is video quality, which is why we all purchase the product.
