  • Little pop-up windows (battery level, etc.) hides the searchbar in UI

This happens when I try to click on search bar to jump in the middle of the movie. VR controllers are not precise like PC mouse and very often controller's "crosshair" visits under the searchbar over battery level indicator and little popup windows shows up and shows I got 69% battery level. Could those popup windows show them self under the indicator so they don't distract and hide the search bar? Or maybe battery level indicator or time, etc. doesn't need to be near the searchbar at all?
I use Quest 2 and newest version of Quest Store Skybox.

    Hi there,

    Hope you're doing well!

SKYBOX beta v1.1.6 optimized the battery indicator issue for you. You can switch to the new beta v1.1.6 and have a try.

    The steps to switch channels:

    1. Visit SKYBOX VR Player product detail page with browser or Meta Quest mobile app. (Make sure you login to your Facebook/Meta account)
    2. Click "Version" and select "v1.1.6 Release: 1.1.6"
    3. Uninstall and reinstall SKYBOX on your Quest.

Feel free to contact us if you have any problems.

    Best regards,
    Lucy

A good solution could be adjusting the pop-up positioning so they appear below the indicator instead of over it. Alternatively, moving battery level and time away from the search bar might help avoid these accidental interruptions.

In general, pop-ups should enhance the user experience, not get in the way. If you're interested, here's a guide on best practices for pop-ups and how they can be designed more effectively: https://claspo.io/blog/what-are-pop-ups-a-definitive-guide-with-examples-best-practices/
