Skybox using 30% GPU all the time

At first everything seemed great, but then I noticed that Skybox is using 30% of the GPU on the computer all the time it is open. I removed all the videos and it is still doing this. Seems a bit suspicious.

BTW just to make sure, you are referring to the PC Client, correct?
Or is it the Oculus Rift/Steam version?

Hi,

I will inform our engineer and do some testing on this issue.
I assure you we are not doing anything bad underneath.
It is most likely an issue with our implementation, and of course we are not proud of that either :)
We are going to fix it ASAP.

We could not recreate your situation on our machines.
Could you please give us the CPU/GPU configuration of your PC?

30% GPU load anytime the Skybox UI is on screen. It's "3D" load and is clearly not doing anything except driving up power bills. Win10 3900X + 2080Ti. All patches, latest drivers etc.

Minimizing the Skybox UI window stops the GPU load entirely.
