Clicking on the Network Channel in SkyBox shows my PC as an SMB server. Clicking on that prompts me for myw Windows username and password. I enter them and it tells me they are incorrect. To check, I've made the same connection from my phone, using the same credentials, and it connects without any problem.

So, in Windows, I turned off the "Password Protected Sharing" option. It now lets me connect, but it only displays the "Default" account which has nothing in it. When I connect via my phone, I see the Default and account and my main account, which has all of the data.

So, on Windows, I set up a network share, made it public, and gave all permissions to everyone. SkyBox sees the share, but when I click on it, it says "You don't have permissions to access this folder". Again, I can access the folder and all of its contents from my phone.

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please right-click the folder you want to share, select Properties, and click Sharing > Advanced Sharing > tick "Share this folder", and click Permissions to make sure "Everyone" or your Local Account is in the Share Permissions list.

Besides, we hope you can share with us your logs. Logs will record some information that helps us further look into the issue.

You just need to go to SKYBOX's Global Settings, change the Logging Levels to "INFO", reproduce the "wrong username and password" and "You don't have permissions to access this folder" issue, then click the BUG icon in the upper-right corner of Global Settings, and send us a bug report attached with logs(tick the "upload logs" box).

      Hello,

We just released a new version 1.1.4(1630), which enhanced SMB stability. You can switch to the "v1.1.4: Release: 1.1.4" channel and see whether the SMB issue has been fixed.

Here're the steps to switch channel:

      1. Visit SKYBOX VR Player product detail page with browser or Meta Quest mobile app. (Make sure you login to your Facebook/Meta account)
      2. Find "Version + Release Notes" and select "v1.1.4: Release: 1.1.4"
      3. Uninstall and reinstall SKYBOX on your Quest.
