[SKYBOX VR] Quest v1.1.4: Supported Passthrough, Fisheye190°, and more

Even though I have hand tracking disabled in the app, during playback it responds to something (I'm not using a controller), shows menus, or malfunctions.

I just figured out the cause.
Quest original hand truck feature is malfunctioning.
When the back of the left hand is facing upward, it should be no action, but it reacts (no icon appears).

SKYBOX beta v1.1.6 fixed the hand tracking issue for you. You can switch to the new beta v1.1.6 and have a try.

The steps to switch channels:

Visit SKYBOX VR Player product detail page with browser or Meta Quest mobile app. (Make sure you login to your Facebook/Meta account)
Click "Version" and select "v1.1.6 Release: 1.1.6"
Uninstall and reinstall SKYBOX on your Quest.

using Quest2, after clicking the passthrough icon I still see the green background in the video, how can I make it clear ?

tried to run the video file using DLNA / AirScreen / Copy the file to Quest2 internal storage none of them are able to make the green background passthrough

Hello, the current passthrough feature doesn't work with the videos with green background. We'll consider supporting that in the future releases.

In the current version 1.1.4, Passthrough only works for the UI, which means you can see a real-time view of your surroundings. It doesn't work with the videos with green background.

Hi, we removed the Spatial Audio feature temporarily. We plan to optimize the Spatial Audio feature(and support ambisonic audio, if possible) in the next few updates.

Also wanting this passthrough for video added to a future release. The next wave of videos are green or gray (or dark) background and will dominate. Skybox has been my favorite VR video player.. but can’t be used with this next phase of VR.
