This would be very valuable, especially controlled (or at least setup) from a smartphone or PC. How many times have I queued up a VR video, and handed a person the headset only to be told they don't see anything? Most untrained folks don't want to want to have to learn a new UI just to interact with a VR experience for the first time. Many times, just being able to look around is enough without the being accidently launched into some strange mode. Yes, please consider this addition :-)
