Software tested: Quest 2 v1.1.1, Win10 Client Skybox VR Player v1.0.0
The Client v1.0.0 has several nested folders (1-2 levels deep maximum) defined containing VR files (> 50 count each) and organized into directory groups alphabetically. Folders were dragged and dropped into Skybox VR Player home.
Quest 2 v1.1.1 AirScreen connects to Client fine. Default connection loads/displays all files available on Client. Feature Request: It would be nice to be able to default to Folders when AirScreen starts.
When the Folders option is selected on the Quest 2, it comes up blank with none of the folders defined on the Client displayed. When switching back to the Files option, the files within the Folders are displayed.
Seems, the only way to fix this issue at the moment is to:
1) disconnect AirScreen
2) go back to Client SkyBox VR Player, remove all directories, and re-add them.
3) reconnect AirScreen, select Folders, and the directories will appear and navigation info the folders work like it did with the previous version of the software.
There is some noted strange behavior. Within the same session (Quest 2 is not powered off), connecting and disconnecting from AirScreen client will not break the Folders (the folders will continue to display correctly).
When the Quest 2 is powered off/on, with the Client still running, Airscreen client will still display the Folders correctly.
However, when the Client PC is powered off, then powered back on, and the Quest 2 connects via Airscreen, the Folders display as blank. Something seems to be lost between Quest 2 Airscreen and the Client when this happens and the only way to fix it is to disconnect Client, redefine the Client content, reconnect Client to view.
Is there a folder or file limitation on the Client?
When Airscreen connects to the Client, where does it get the info tied to the linked directories defined on the Client? Is this somehow getting cleared when the Client is rebooted?
