[SKYBOX VR] Quest Beta v1.1.1: Overlay, custom thumbnails and more

Just installed the update on Quest 2 and now skybox is stuck at the loading screen!?

The progress bar goes to full and then nothing happens?? Restarting device didn't help

How can i solve this?

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience! Could you share with us the Log folder in Quest 2\Android\data\xyz.skybox.player.ovr\files\Log? After knowing the causes of this issue, we'll fix it for you as soon as possible.

I just want to know on thing: how to control zoom in V1.1.1?
Like using only stick in V1.0.5, or using both trigger and stick in V1.1.0?

Cause if like V1.1.0, I won't update this, let's save some time not to uninstall and reinstall...

Hi, the default zoom adjustment is the same as how you control in v1.0.5.

If you like to use both trigger and thumbstick to zoom in/out, you can go to Global Settings and choose the thumbstick settings between "zoom screen" and "adjust volume".

List view is not sorted by date.

Updating the file list is also strange.
If you reopen a folder that has been opened once,
Even though the contents of the folder have changed, the previous file list information remains the same.
However, when I exited and re-entered the problem folder again, the contents of the folder were correctly updated.

It would be better if you can take a video capture of the issue, or share with us(contact@skybox.xyz) some screenshots. In this way, we can clearly see what went wrong and try reproducing the same issue in order to debug. Thanks!

Panasony Similar situation withe the subtitle list. I put video.eng.srt and video.cn.srt at the same folder with the video. But the list had never shown them correctly. There are often 3 or 4 same subtitles listed at the same time without another one.

It's great to have the custom thumbnail feature . But many of us manage videos by folder. Could we show the folder thumbnails by the file named Folder.jpg or Folder.png which inside the folder. That's many software have done in this way as well.

If I sort the files by date, it seems that they are sorted by media length instead of date (but not accurate).
Folders are also not handled.
It should be sorted by date modified or created.

Ted Hi, we fixed the duplicate subtitles in v1.1.1(594). Please reinstall the app and click Global Setting and turn on Show FPS to check the version number. If the problem still remains, please let us know.

Panasony Hi, please reinstall the app to update to v1.1.1(592) and see if the problem was fixed. Besides, you're not able sort folders by date. Folders can only be sorted by name.

Improvements were seen from Ver1.1.1(589), but it is not sorted by date correctly.
There is a strange order here and there.
By the way, Will you support folders in the future?

Mine is 1.1.1(597) now. Subtitles seem not duplicated now. But the list usually didn't show all the subtitles in the same folder.
The subtitles are named like below:
Video.eng.srt
Video.eng1.srt
Video.cht.srt
...

I have VR mode recognization issue here. All the videos which had postfixed to Video_3dh_180 or Video_LR_180 can play without any format problem before. But now many of the same videos was recognized to be Fisheye format frequently. That cause the picture morphed and is really annoying.
