XBVR DLNA Server Not Working

Hi,
I have setup a DLNA server using XBVR and tested the server over the network with a few devices to confirm it's working properly. However although the latest version of Skybox on Quest 2 can see and access the XBVR DLNA Server it doesn't detect any playable videos inside the different folders, the previous version 1.0.5 can detect videos and play them but it shows that folders have 0 files in them. Moreover, everything works fine on my mobile phone, and using another player on Quest 2, so I believe the issue is with Skybox app. I can provide screenshots and more details if needed. Thanks.

We'd much appreciate it if you can record a video of that problem in v1.1.0 and share with us your log files. From the recording, we'll clearly understand what happened. And log files will help us further look into the problem.

You can follow the steps below to record a video in Oculus Quest:

To find the log files, please connect your Quest 2 to your PC through a cable, then the "Quest 2" folder will appear on your PC. Share with us the log files located in Quest 2\Android\data\xyz.skybox.player.ovr\files\Log. You can compress the files into a zip file.

Received! Our developer is checking the issue. I'll get back to you with more information later. You can temporarily use v1.0.5 to play videos using DLNA. Besides, you can also try other DLNA servers. The issue might not happen when you're using other DLNA servers.

Hi. I actually have the exact same problem in v1.10 (548). The VR files within my XBVR DLNA server are not being recognized. It can browse thru folders and recognizes all the performers names/folders, and studio names/folders. But each folder is shown as empty.

I downgraded to v1.05, and that version sees and plays all the videos no problem. It also lists that each folder has 0 files in it, but it shows/plays all the videos that are in there.

I prefer to stay on v1.10 though, as that can play 200 FOV videos properly. I have a samba share that has always been working, so I can use that. But I was hoping to use XBVR as it organizes my content a little better.

The XBVR DLNA is recognized perfectly in Pigasus VR player, but that player doesn't support 200 FOV, which is why I bought Skybox.

Me too，I also have the same problem，I like SKYBOY，but it cannot read my phones DLNA video，but PIGASUS can do it。In fact，it doest work in 1.10 beta ，it only can be read in 1.05 beta，but can`t be played.

6 Months later this is still an issue, I'm disappointed in the lack of follow up.

Hi there, we think this issue may have something to do with XBVR. If you use other DLNA servers, you will not experience this kind of problems. Thanks for your understanding!
