Videos over the Network (DLNA/SAMBA) do not play

Updated to latest beta version 1.1.0 (520) [was also having problem on 510). Videos that are in the Quest 2's internal memory work normally. But over the network, the videos are not played, just a black screen, no sound and no playback time. No matter the video type (2d/3d) or format. I went back to version 1.0.5 and it works normally.

Does the black screen issue happen to all videos in your Samba/DLNA server?

If possible, please share with us one unplayable video, so we can test it to further check the problem.

One correction. The problem is only for SMB. DLNA is working fine.
As reported the video file and its format is irrelevant in this case as the problem happens with any video. I tested dozens of videos from different sources. All videos work fine in version 1.0.5. I use the Zidoo X9S as a media center, which in turn makes use of OpenWrt for SMB. Using PC, SMB works normally. So it seems to be something related to Zidoo's OpenWRT SMB.

Would you like to share with us your log files? We need to check the log files to further look into the problem.

The log files are located in Quest 2\Android\data\xyz.skybox.player.ovr\files\Log. You need to connect your Quest 2 to your PC through a cable, then the "Quest 2" folder will appear on your PC. Please send the Log folder to us(contact@skybox.xyz).
