Does Skybox finally have fisheye video support? Since some videos (from NA :P ) have been shot and edited to fisheye video format it looks "wrong" when playing it with standard 180 3D SBS.

Off-topic but since you brought it up. Regarding movies from NA, does it work smoothly for you? because to me the audio breaks when viewing them via SkyBox. I'm talking about high quality versions like 8-10 GBs. It makes it unwatchable but I'm not sure if it's my PC or the player itself.

      Hi,

Fisheye support is on our roadmap, but we have not settled on a date to add it to SKYBOX yet.
We realize that there are fisheye videos out there but they are relatively rare, and we currently have our schedules full of more urgent feature additions and performance enhancement. Hope you can understand:)

Any news about this? I agree with you that in February fisheye SBS videos were rare, but after the launch of the Lenovo Mirage Camera (and soon the Yi Horizon), videos in VR180 format (https://github.com/google/spatial-media/blob/master/docs/vr180.md) are now much more common.

I know that the Oculus Go player will support VR180 soon (https://twitter.com/ID_AA_Carmack/status/994584600444715010), but it would be nice if Skybox also supported it :)

        Thanks!

We will definitely support VR 180 as well.

          Thanks for your support.
