Videos not uploading to the player

I’ve been having problems uploading videos from my laptop video folder into Skybox. Some I have been able to resolve with repeated attempts but the last three videos in a row that I have downloaded will not go into Skybox and I must’ve tried 20 or 30 times. Just keep getting the icon showing a picture torn in half. There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the videos as they play in the media player on the laptop. I even tried re-downloading one of them and it didn’t make any difference. Is there anything I should be trying?

Are you using MacOS Monterey?

If so, it may due to incompatibility issues. We are working on a fix and plan to roll out a beta version of SKYBOX Mac client this week, hoping to resolve this uploading problem.

Meanwhile, we recommend you watching videos via SMB or DLNA during this period.

Hi friends,

We are also working on a new version of SKYBOX Windows client. Please kindly try this new version a few days later.

During this period, you can stream videos to your headset via SMB. Here are the steps to set up network file sharing on Win10:

Open Windows Explorer > Navigate to the folder you want to share > Right-click the item > Choose Properties > Click on the Sharing tab > Select Advanced Sharing > Check Share this folder.

Then you can access the shared folder in SKYBOX’s "Network" channel.

Yes I'm having same issues on Windows 10. Video format is mp4 and it plays normally on VLC but it does not upload into skybox and getting the icon showing a picture torn in half. I tried changing the file name then it sometimes works and then sometimes it does not - very random
