Some movie creators save the name of the studio, publisher or other name as the title in the metadata. Skybox displays this metadata instead of the real file name in the files list, whereas windows file manager will always show the real file name. This causes Skybox to show many files all with the same filename and the only way to fix it is to use windows explorer, right click, properties, details, remove properties and personal information... etc. Please either fix the file viewer so that it always shows the filename, or better still, allow it to be customised so that the user can select what file information and metadata is displayed

It turns out I was using Windows Media Player as a DLNA server and this was responsible for the name change. If I played the files via SMB or using the Oculus Air link, the original filename was presented
