Hello! I am not a dev, or engineer, simply a user. I did a quick search (no pun intended) to see if this was mentioned before and I did not see anything so I'll take a stab at posting here.

The Skybox App has become essential in the use of my Oculus Go. I was gifted a Go, this past holiday season, and it's only got 32GB storage. With many movie files easily coming in at anywhere from 4GB to 10GB, depending on their resolution, storing movies on an external drive, connected to my computer, and streaming them is the best way to go without running out of space on the Go and constantly deleting an loading/re-loading directly. I just want my library at my fingertips.

Here is my feature request: While I take great care in organizing and naming my files, and making them easy to sort, follow, and find, a "search" feature would be absolutely brilliant!

I don't know how complex that would be, and I don't want it to search the streaming device's memory (in this case, my Mac and external hard drive housing the files), if it could just sift through the file text on the device, allowing to quickly jump around files and file paths/directories without having to constantly manually navigate the folders and sub-folders, I think that would be a great addition.

While you can order your files by name, or size, when you get a really long list, or have a few subfolders, in the file path, a "search feature" that could: temporarily display/filter and sort, or give search results to your query by finding items by typed text, would be a great feature!

Also, when you have gone a few subfolders into the file path, (thank you for keeping the file path visible on the top of the screen) and need to go back, is it possible to be able to return to the area where you left off from and not the top of the stack again? For Example: you have a list of files/folders, you scroll down to the middle, you open a folder, and nor are looking at the contents of that folder, you don't find what you are looking for, so you use the back button, and go back one step in the directory file path, but now you are at the top of the list in the previous directory, instead of the middle where you originally accessed the next folder to begin with.

While I mentioned that I keep my files and folders well organized, they are organized for a fully featured computer OS (with search, sort, and fast organizational functionality) I don't want to have to s re-organize items on my computer simply to help with better flow navigation on the oculus. (I do it now, but it's double the work!)

I love your product, and it IS essential, for my usage, (and please continue supporting the Mac!!!!) but a search feature, again, not searching the device I'm streaming from, but re-organizing/searching the files in the Occulus Skybox interface, that I have chosen to stream from my computer, would be really helpful.

Also, is there a way to support your move to a paid app, without subscribing to Patreon, but simply donating directly. (Yes, I understand that I could just pay for the newer version when it's released, but I was hoping to not have to re-download/re-install it on my Oculus, or on my computer, if I didn't have to.) I do want to support you guys, but the less mucking about I have to do with installs, and uninstalls, on my devices, the better I would feel. It's working great so far, and I don't want to mess anything up, between installing/uninstalling a free and then pay version.
