Until MVC is supported natively by SkyBox, we are having to re-encode our ripped 3D Blu-ray movies to Full SBS versions to allow for SkyBoxVR 3D playback (with minimal image quality loss).
However, as documented in other posts, there is currently an issue that the 3D movie is rendered in a stretched width 32:9 Aspect Ratio.
To resolve this, we need to go into Advanced settings and override the Aspect Ratio to force 16:9
The problem is that we need to do this every time we play the movie!
ie. Although the 3D setting is retained per movie, the Aspect Ratio setting is NOT being retained per movie.
If this setting can be retained (along with the 3D setting), then this would provide a more user friendly click & play experience (after the first 3D conversion SkyBox play test and initial Aspect Ratio 16:9 override setup).
