Wrong audio chanel playing

For a MKV file converted from Blue ray, it contained a surround 5.1 audio channel (probably DTS) and a DD stereo track.

When I play the video using skybox on my Oculus Quest 2, instead of getting the 5.1 audio track, I get the DD stereo track which turned out to be described video.

If I play the MKV file in VLC or plex, I get the correct 5.1 track.

Clearly, this makes the video unwatchable.

How can I get it to use the correct audio track? And why did it choose the wrong one?

When I looked, I couldn't find a way to select the audio track.

I created a new MKV of the same movie but this time without the DD stereo channel, and just the main 5.1 audio (DTS?) and while it plays fine in plex, when I try to play it in skybox on my quest 2, it says an error occurred.

I suspect it can't play the other audio tracks for some reason.

I've done some more testing.

accessing via DLNA server on my Synology NAS, 4k movies wouldn't play as well.

I tried accessing movies via SMB from the NAS, and things started working.

DTS video worked for the movies, and I could play 4k movies.

Same true of using your PC streaming app to view movies.

I don't know if the issue is DLNA protocol, or the specific media server (DLNS) on my NAS, but DTS sound does not work with movies when using them.
