  • Are you still working on Skybox Updates.?

Hi,
I was an Skybox user on the Oculus Gear VR and i recently bought a Quest 2.
First i was surprised of the price of Skybox, i missed the "became a paid app" message.
I really can understand that a quality app become paied, (even if i think that you should have lowered the price, i probably bought it directly at 5$)
But currently, i am waiting before buying the official version because i tested it on a friends oculus and i beleve that nothing right now is ready for quest 2. no 90hz, no native resolution, app stops on a regular basis... it is not possible to watch a full movie without problems.
So my question is simple : do you plan to work actively on the quest 2? (it has been sold a lot, i am sure this is a hudge market for you) or is Skybox a dead project?

Thanks for all the work already done ! especially for the possibility to chose the placement of the screen! that is a perfect "lay down" app to watch movies! (when it's working...)

    I'm wondering the same, just got my Quest 2 a few days ago.
    As a long time Go user, Skybox would be an instant Purchase, but not with the lack of communication from your side and the current unknown state of the app on Quest 2...

      I've been asking about this since before the Quest 2 came out and in the mean time there has been no presence from the devs at all here, on their forum.

      We have to assume the project is dead... Which is sad. It's the best video player out there and with the Quest 2 they have a huge potential market opening up

        guys, did you found any viable alternative? (even sidequested...)

          Yes. I am wondering about the same thing. Please announce an update is coming soon for the Quest 2!

            ...That is pathetic... they are so lazy that they dont even visit their own forum once a month...
            When I think they switch to a paid model to then offer this kind of prestation...

            I sent them a mail and a week later they said they were busy with other project.
            Such a lame excuse. Are they so busy to the point they did not find 20
            min of spare time within 6 month ...?
            The other lame excuse I read was that they lost their forum password... and they dont want to reply with a new account because people would not know it is them for real.
            Pathetic...

              If you guys are reading that in 2 years: we are disapointed.
              It is not a normal behavior to ask money for an app that was free to then crash the level of commitment to zero.
