Spending 15$ on this app to find it lacking such a basic feature is disappointing.
It is not always possible or secure to have all Windows/Samba shares on servers and nas systems to be readily open to be scanned and have all shares on the public browse list. As such without the ability to manually add servers by ip and custom paths its highly more restrictive and you cannot access a multitude of shares.
Especially disappointing considering this functionality is available in the other popular media viewer that only costs 6$
