I'm having an issue where
(1) The first video I open appears on the screen, but does not start playback. If I scoot the progress bar forward a second or two and hit play, it plays fine.
(2) When I try to open another video, it does not load. I just get the spinning "loading" circle. No more videos will load from any location, including the original video.
If I close and re-open Skybox, it is exactly the same. First video plays; any subsequent video doesn't.
I tried re-installing all the VCC redistributables as suggested in another thread to no avail.
Info about my setup:
Windows 10 1909, SteamVR, Skybox on Steam. Paid version of Skybox.
AMD 3950x CPU, MSI Creation X570 Mobo, 64Gb DDR4, MSI 2080Ti GPU
Pimax 5K+ with Vive controllers & lightboxes.
Video being loaded both from local computer and LAN SMB shares. Format & resolution does not seem to make a difference.
I have a Samsung Odyssey, but it's currently loaned out to a friend so I can't test that on the same computer. It previously worked fine on a different computer.
I also have an Oculus Quest (with the Oculus version of Skybox on the headset) and everything works as expected. Video (local+SMB both) loads and starts playback automatically, no problems changing videos.
Any ideas? Is it a Steam-specific or Pimax-specific issue?
