Downloaded Mac version of Skybox App but doesn't work! I'm on OS 10.13.6.

It is possible since we always keep SKYBOX Client compatible with newest OS version.

Please try using DLNA share (Plex for example) or SMB (System Preference > Sharing).

I am a Huawei VR Glass user. This product has excellent experience, but the built-in video player has poor experience and incomplete functions. For example, the video player does not support NAS or video format identification. I hope that Skybox supports Huawei VR Glass.
