How to get movie files

So this may not be a strict Skybox question, but I feel like it is relevant. I got Skybox working well on my iphone with a vr headset. I was surprised how well it worked, just watching a youtube video I had downloaded on my computer. Now I have a few movies that I have redeemed on movies anywhere from Blu-rays and such. They are perfectly legal. I have my itunes account and such linked to that Movies Anywhere account. My problem is, how can I get the file of the movie to transfer to Skybox. I don't see any other way to get an .mp4 or equivalent video file of a movie, other than downloading it illegaly, and based on past experiences I have kind of sworn off piracy. Is there any other way to get the files of movies onto Skybox?

Bobbod55 iTunes movies have DRM (Digital Rights Management). You would only be able to watch those movies on approved devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, or Windows computers with iTunes installed. If you have the BluRay, you could rip the file and convert it to a .MP4, I just don't know what software to use to do the ripping.

I'm a new Oculus Quest and SKYBOX user and was wondering the same. SKYBOX shows hit movies being used in their user tutorial, but I can't even play my legally downloaded Apple TV (iTunes) movies from my new iMac via Airscreen. The films' thumbnails appear, but some are greyed out and when I try and play any film, the play menu in the theater shows the film, but it does not play. I take it there must be a copyright protector from Apple in the files. So, yes, your question is the same as mine. How and where do we legally get films to play on SKYBOX?! I just hope this great movie player and the creators behind it aren't really using it as an illegal means to promote film/video piracy.

Hey, if you want to play iTunes movies on Skybox, you need to find a tool to convert iTunes videos first. I know a tool called DRmare iTunes Media Converter Windows, maybe it can help you. You could go to DRmare website to check it for details. Good luck.
