  • Video stutter in 1080p videos on consecutive openings.

After using Skybox for a day or two videos that used to play flawlessly begin to stutter (video and audio). It happens to flat and 3d, large and small (from 1.7 to 14b), mkv and mp4 videos. But not all videos are affected.
I tried deleting cache in Skybox app, it did not help.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skybox app, it helped temporarily.
How can I fix this?

    What VR device do you use and how do you watch the videos (via SMB/DLNA/AirScreen or from local storage)?

      Yum I have galaxy s8 Exynos with gearvr 324. I play videos from internal phone storage.

        Did you install any Android update in the past few days please?
        Could you check if other VR apps are also acting weird compared to before?
        Since last year when Samsung and Oculus dropped support for GearVR, the Oculus Gear app becomes very unstable when facing Android updates.

        We haven't released a Gear Version for a long time so there's nothing we could change with SKYBOX in the past few days.
