3DOF on quest currently not supported as Skybox VR requires 'tracking'

hey team, love the app on Go and Quest. Currently this app requires tracking to work on the quest (where as it works just fine on the Go in 3DOF mode ;-) ) - I am hoping you guys can include 3DOF mode support like Virtual Desktop has. Seeing as the number one reason to use the Quest in the dark is to watch media it makes perfect sense for your app to support that feature!

Im going on a cruise tomorrow and wow am I dissapointed to know that I wont be able to use the quest in my shared cabin :-(

Alternativly I could side-load the Oculus Go APK... if I had it...

I second this! I have been looking forward to completely replace my Gear VR for Skybox.
Shortly after Skybox came out on Oculus Quest they admitted on reddit that they hadn't even considered a 3DoF mode before, which totally blew my mind!

This is nonsense to me. You have the "default" app to watch media on a platform, you already have a previous version with 3dof, you know that the device will get an update exclusively to watch media… …and your app doesn't support it since first day? Weird. I think there must be a lot of people looking for an alternative media app or sideloading the Go version and that's a shame because it's completely unnecessary. ¯\(ツ)/¯
I think they will release an update soon.
