Password Length for SMB account is limited to 20 chars?

I have a longer password than this, but it doesn't look like I can actually enter it...

Any chance we can get that limit increased (or eliminated)?

I just checked and the limit is 19 now.

Hi everyone, recent user here. Is there any ETA on this limitation? I had to create a new user on my NAS with a simple password and give limited access to just my videos directory in order to work around this problem. Thanks!

You can create a password that contains 30 characters without any problem.
