While Streaming - Delete from hard drive option?

Hi guys, while we are streaming on Skybox from a hard drive (on my GearVR for example), have the devs mentioned implementing a feature for there to be an option to be able to delete the file from the original source, which in my case would be the hard drive? This would be REALLY cool!

Do you use SMB to stream please?
If so, then it's technically not possible right now because there are so many ports which SMB runs on.
Our devs are working to have an universal solution.

What is meant by SMB? I connect my GearVR through home Wifi and stream via Airstream to view videos located on my hard drive.

SMB share is another way SKYBOX supports to stream videos from PC to VR headset.

Hello, on my side still waiting also for this features - would be really really convenient (for many uses I guess). Delete the video which is reading from an smb share hard disk. Thanks for consideration, for me only thing missing from your great player

It's been over three years since this feature request was submitted. Are you any closer to having this functionality in place? Will this core functionality ever be implemented?

Is there still no feature to be able to delete a video on screen? Half the time instead of skipping to the next video, I would like to just delete it from my PC all together, through the app. Are there any other players that have this option?

Hi there,

Are you using SKYBOX Quest standalone version? If so, we are going to support deleting files from SMB share in the next update v1.1.6.
