Same experience as GregZone. It took me 8 hours to encode Avatar Bluray 3D ISO to a Full SBS mkv. The was 38 gig in size and Skybox was unable to stream it via plain SMB or with its own SkyBox app for Windows. So I copied the file to Oculus Quest2 local folder. Enabling Full SBS switching in Skybox chops off top/bottom of video. Using 16:9 reduces quality.
NOTE: PIGASUS WAS ABLE TO PLAY FULL SBS MKV CORRECTLY
Also, interestingly I found no difference in quality between Half Over/Under and Full Over/Under mkv files in SkyBox.
NOTE: PIGASUS HAS THE ABILITY TO PLAY BOTH FULL SBS AND THE SUPERIOR FULL OU (1920X3840) 3D FORMAT. SKYBOX PLS ADD FULL O/U ABILITY.
One more feature ask
Quest2 has back lighting which reduces contrast dramatically. Most blacks appear dark gray, even though I have decreased Quest2 brightness to 0. If I change SkyBox contrast setting from 0 to 1 I get deeper blacks but lose a lot of detail. Can Skybox give us more granular contrast control (like 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2). Pigasus has this granularity but I prefer to use SkyBox as it has the potential to become the best media player for Oculus.
