Hey there,
So I am at my wits end trying to figure out the basic functionality of any hide feature, I think I am just not getting the basics of what is required, but its been an hour of troubleshooting and googling and can't find any answers so I'll try posting here. Perhaps its because Rift isn't fully supported yet? All the users I see online asking questions in the forum appear to be on the phone versions.
SO, all I want to do is hide some videos that I opened. When I open the app in my Rift I see folders on the left:
All files, VR Videos, Network, and Hidden Files. The only folder system that lets me search the directories of my PC to find VR videos is the top one, All Files. Fine. So I navigate to the folder that contains my VR videos and I can open them and play them.
Now, all I want to do is hide them somehow when your in the app.
HOOOOOOWWWWWW?
Within the app I see no menus that allow me to do this. I click the little wrench and I can only delete the files. If I click the options in the top left of the main window I see sorting options and the ability to hide or view hidden files. I see nothing that says HOW to make a file hidden. There is no way to right click a video in the app that I can tell, to bring up a menu or anything.
So then I thought... oooh maybe going to my desktop and literally just using Windows hide feature to "hide" folder with VR videos will make it hidden in the app... but nope, they are still there, and toggling hide on and off in the app still does nothing.
Is it normal to see no directories in the app except for All files which just lets me navigate my PC?
thanks in advance for any help, its gotta be something really simple, or perhaps the hide feature is not available for Rift yet.
