Hello!
Why do you say "Notice that you cannot hide folders in SD Card, but only those stored in Phone."?
Is it a bug or a missing feature? Did it ever work? I also do not see a wrench icon for files on SDCARD.
Can't SKYBOX just keep a file with list of hidden directory paths no matter if they are on internal or sdcard memory?
Also, for hiding content from other gallery apps, it is sufficient to create empty ".nomedia" file within a directory. Can SKYBOX also use that file as a hint that a folder should be hidden?
I bought SKYBOX (on Gear VR on Samsung S9+) and I can't get it to ignore a folder on SDCARD (not even the special "hide" folder) that does have ".nomedia" file in it.
I found this release info, but it does not work for sdcard as described, while it does work for Phone internal memory...
So I guess some bugs are introduced in the past three years regarding how "hide" folder is handled on sdcard...
Oculus Go / Gear VR 0.1.4
Release date: Apr 06, 2017
- The private hide folder also supports sdcard ( path is /sdcard root directory/SKYBOX/hide/ ). You can add videos that are not displayed in other gallery apps but are displayed in SKYBOX VR to the hide folder.
Oculus Go / Gear VR 0.1.3
Release date: Feb 01, 2017
- The private hide folder on the phone storage ( path is /Phone root directory/SKYBOX/hide/ ). You can add videos that are not displayed in other gallery apps but are displayed in SKYBOX VR to the hide folder.
Should "hide" folder be created by the app automatically on the sdcard (as it was created automatically on internal memory) when app storage is moved to SDCARD?
