Ive used skybox for ages now, especially after the multiplayer upgrade me and my friends are using it multiple times a week, especially the webdav mp support is amazing.
But since a few weeks, the sound of movies in multiplayer is crackling pretty often (quest 3), not happening in singleplayer. Ive checked the CPU load and its at 50-60%, not sure what causes it.
Another thing ive noticed is that the audio of most movies is getting async for some reason, -1.1s most of the time. Ive checked the movie with another player and the sync is perfect there, so skybox is the cause for sure. Maybe its related to the sound crackling ?
In addition i would like to see an option, when you create youre room that allow friends to join without invitation. Like "create private room, but open for friends".
Something else would be an option to set a default for audio languages and subtitles, that you can be setup in the settings.
Maybe you can add an option that let you see, at what position of the movie the other people in your room are, because sometimes youve to ask them when you have the feeling that someone is a few seconds behind or in front of you.
You should also consider adding everyone from the meta friendlist to the skybox friendlist, to remove some obstacles from adding each other.
Maybe you could take the suggestion to setup a default language and take it further, so that you can see what languages your friends prefer.
Another idea i had would be adding a 2D version of skybox, like the youtube app, that would let you switch between the VR and 2D version. It would let you use skybox as a player in youre home environment if needed.
Another small thing would be to save the state of the mute button in multiplayer. Most of the time youre using the meta party chat for voice and youve to remind everyone in the room to mute their ig voice, otherwise you hear everyone twice (party + ig). Maybe its a bug from metas side, but most people are sending in party and game chat by default.
