Constant buffering and jerking

Ever since I updated Horizon OS to v76, watching videos with SKYBOX has become problematic because it's buffering and jerking all the time. I'm not sure what is causing it and sometimes I get buffering notice but most of the time it just freezes for a second. Many times it also loses a sync for _500ms. I reinstalled SKYBOX and installed the latest v2 but didn't help.

The files are the most basic 1080p MKV files, like The.Eternaut.S01E06.Cold.Tomato.Juice.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.Atmos.H.264-FLUX.mkv. Other video players, like 4XVR, have no trouble playing them but I'd prefer using SKYBOX for various reasons.

I saw few people posting on this on X, so I don't think it's just me. Is this an issue with Horizon OS or what's going on?

I noticed that I had logging on and when I turned it off, the freezing dropping to a few stutters here and there. But something is still wrong because I'm having a hard time believeling that a unit as powerful as Quest 3 can't play 1080p video and write a text file at the same time.

How did you play the video, from local storage or from SMB server? We downloaded three different sources of the S01E06, but none of them had the buffering issue.

To further investigate the issue, could you please share with us(contact@skybox.xyz) a specific video file and your logs?

To send logs, please follow the steps below:

Click SKYBOX's "Global Settings", change the "Logging Levels" to "Info".
Reproduce the issue you mentioned, then click the BUG icon in the upper-right corner of Global Settings.
Send us a bug report attached with logs(tick the "upload logs" box). Thank you!

I am getting huge problems on the new version. Anything over 5k will no longer play -- i get a message that file is too big to be decoded, on videos that were just fine prior to the update. Trying to downgrade version to the old one that actually works.

I discovered the reason for this and as bizarre as it sounds, it's my bluetooth headphones (Sony WF-1000XM4) that will cause playback to constantly buffer from both SD and Airscreen. Also, the buffering seems gone if I restart the headset but it gradually gets worse the longer I watch. If I put headset to sleep and start to watch again, it's terrible. As a dev myself, I have no idea why bluetooth would be causing this sort of issue but looks like it. As soon as switch to Q3 audio, problem disappears.

Did you manually seek to a specific frame when playing a video? During our testing, we found that after connecting bluetooth headphones and seeking to a specific frame, there is a 0.5-second lag and audio delay. If you are referring to this issue, we will try to fix it in future updates.
