USB 4k-8k video crawling speed on Oculus 3.

I realized when I plugged in my SSD for Skybox to read my 4k or 6k videos such as Avatar..etc it came to a crawling speed just to source the file, by playing the video from my SSD it literally pauses every other second, while I used 4KVR without any of the issue and file seeking and loading is optimal, what's up with Skybox player supporting USB at proper speed with proper resolution ? is there a fix coming soon ? this literally kills the reason for me to buy the software.

Could you please share with us(contact@skybox.xyz) a particular video for testing? If the video bitrate is too high, SKYBOX may be unable to play it smoothly. We also want to know the model and file system of your SSD. Thank you!

Lucy 4KVR have no such issue at all. either with high bitrate or my SSD, why can't you fix the issue since your player is not performing as well with 4KVR? I spent the money to make sure it plays my videos, only if I knew, I'd purchase 4KVR over Skybox if there is no plan to address this.

Thank you for sharing the logs.

We tried to play some 4K-6K videos with NTFS and exFAT formatted USB flash drives, but didn't encounter choppy playback. When we turned on "Show Stats" in "Global Settings", we could see the network speed was around 22MB/s.

We sincerely apologize for the slow playback you experienced. SKYBOX may not do well on USB compatibility issues and we will try to optimize the USB support in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support!
