Well, I can if I turn off password sharing on the windows side, but my Quest 3 reset and I had to reinstall everything. Now for some reason I can't enter my win10 username. It was working before the reset, problem is it's a long username as a hotmail address and Skybox (or SMB)seems to have a character limit. Not going to put the hotmail name here as one of the reasons it's long is because it's ridiculous made up nonsense that has so far prevented spam. I get two network boxes on the network screen, one shows a Windows network share (showing my Windows username ironically) but when I click on it just says network error, and the SMB share just won't let me enter the same username. If I turn off password sharing on Windows, it connects, but for obvious reasons, I don't want to do that and allow anyone in the household to view any share. I have guest shares for everyone and shares just for myself. I just don't understand how it was working fine before the headset reset but nothing I do now works. I even added a user with a short email address but that didn't even work, still says incorrect password. Incidentally, the same username and password works fine with other SMB apps on my phone, Ipad and file managers sideloaded on the headset. Yes, I checked for spelling multiple times. If it wasn't for the fact it works with passwords turned off I'd blame this on user error but as it was all working before the reset, I don't know if there's something new in the app and I can't figure out how I got it working before.
