When playing a video, you can hide and show your hands by tapping "No Pinch" or "Allow Pinch" on the Mini Bar.
You can also put your left palm towards yourself, pinch with your index finger and thumb of your left hand to hide/show your hands. When the edges of your hand become transparent, pinching will not disturb playback.
