Hi Ted,
After adjusting some settings, you will be able to navigate to the next or previous slide with the joystick.
In "Global Settings", please turn off "Presentation Mode", set the "Fast Forward/Backward" duration and "Image Display Time" to the same time.
When opening an image, click "Advanced Settings", make sure it is in "Loop List" mode and the image is in Pause mode. Then you should be able to navigate to the next or previous slide with the joystick.
